One of the racist groups that has been in the news a lot recently is the “Proud Boys”. They really are terrible racists and I’ll explain it to you now.
The Founder – Gavin McInnes
The Proud Boys was founded by Gavin McInnes as a bit of a goof. They started out as a joke based on a song from a musical “Proud of Your Boy”. The idea was pretty much a men’s drinking club.
Gavin, who is described as a far-right, neo-fascist, racist, is actually none of the sort. He is married to a Canadian First Nations woman, and has bi-racial children. To say that he is a racist, white-supremacist is ridiculous.
Jailed Members – White Supremacists?
In 2018 the Proud Boys were attacked by a group of Antifa members, including having bottles of urine thrown on them. In the following brawl the Proud Boys beat the crap out of some of the Antifa members, and although Antifa had no desire to pursue prosecution for the fact that they lost, the police decided to press charges.
Two of the members, Maxwell Hare and John Kinsman, were found guilty of assault and rioting and sentenced to four years of prison. Remember that the Proud Boys has been characterized by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) as a hate group. The absurd thing with that is that one of those members who were sentence to prison is in fact married to an African American, and has mixed race children.
Again, as white supremacists, they are failing miserably.
The Leader – A Black Cuban White Supremacist?
The Leader or Chairman of the Proud Boys, Enrique Tarrio, is a black Cuban, who’s family escaped from Communist Cuba and has a natural distain for Communism and Socialism. He has been quoted as saying,
“I denounce white supremacy. I denounce anti-Semitism. I denounce racism. I denounce fascism. I denounce communism and any other -ism that is prejudiced towards people because of their race, religion, culture, tone of skin.”
The fact that we are expected to believe that Enrique Tarrio is the chairman of a “far-right, neo-fascist” group that the SPLC calls a hate group is laughable. If they are racist, they really are terrible and it and are the worst ones ever …
